A demo can be scheduled if you are interested in purchasing. When have you been able to demo a used instrument? These instruments are usually sitting decommissioned in a warehouse somewhere. At 200K this instrument will sell fast, so don't hesitate. This instrument does not include an HPLC. It is currently attached to a capillary HPLC that can be used for demonstration purposes. It is a great proteomics machine.
Other costs Also plan on approximately 50K moving cost within the US, and a 55K service contract if you wish to obtain one. Thermo may be willing to work out a package deal on the move and service contract, we can work out those details if you are interested. The instrument is currently not under service contract, but was as recently as 2009. It has the newest acquisition software and has had the onboard, and acquisition computer replaced in 2009. The instrument is currently working. Since this instrument is in use all the accessories are available and included.

FemTOMOLE SENSITIVITY 50 Femtomole on column On-line nano-LC-MS/MS of a 5 protein mix digest (50 attomole each on column, 30 min gradient). Data analysed with BioWorks 3.3. All proteins found with at least 2 peptides, high Xcorr and high peptide probability. Maintain mass accuracy over a Concentration independent mass accuracy in infusion or under LC conditions.
